Autone At 27

Autone At 27

The Austone AT27 is an all-weather tyre designed for buses and mid-sized trucks for use on various road conditions. It provides superior traction in wet and dry driving conditions and is an affordable option for drivers on a budget. A unique tread compound makes the tyre puncture and wear-resistant, which is useful on rougher roads. The compound lowers the AT 27's rolling resistance, lessening fuel consumption and CO2 emissions significantly. It has a three zig-zag groove design that effectively removes water from the tyre's surface to enhance wet weather traction and to prevent hydroplaning. Lateral shoulder grooves ensure responsive steering, consistent stability and grip when cornering at high-speeds. It is a quiet and comfortable ride, with Austone's engineers using a variable pitch groove design to keep tyre noise limited. Austone Tyres began in Australia, and with partners, the Chengshan Group and Cooper Tyre produce well-built, affordable tyres available globally.

Why This Tyre?

Autone At 27 UTQG 360 A A

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

360 A A

•  360 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with A being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Autone At 27 is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
