Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature
420 A A
• 420 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.
• A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.
• A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Pirelli Cinturato P1 is an Asymmetrical Tyre
Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.
To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.

Pirelli OEM Tyres
Pirelli's Cinturato P1 was developed with some of the world's leading car companies, including BMW, as the OEM tyre for its models.
OEM or "original equipment manufacturer", means that the Pirelli worked with these companies to design a tyre model specifically for a brand new vehicle model.
Each OEM tyre is rigorously tested by car manufacturers for added performance, safety, and fuel efficiency parameters.
Pirelli Run-Flat Tyre
A Run-flat tyre is a tyre that will allow you to keep driving safely even if it is punctured.
You can head to the nearest petrol station without having to change your flat tyre at the side of the road.
Pirelli's RUN FLAT™ technology allows you to drive up to 80 km after a puncture at a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
Each Pirelli Run Flat™ tyre features a self-supporting reinforced sidewall so the tyre won't collapse and slip off the rim.
The New Pirelli Cinturato P1 comes available in a RUN FLAT™ version.>
