Experience the Toyo Proxes R 888 R

The Toyo Proxes R 888 R is a road-legal track tyre which evolved from the many race-winning Proxes R888.

It is an ultra-high-performance racing tyre that delivers faster lap times and better dry handling. This is due to its new asymmetric tread design and a wider, more improved contact patch that allows the tyre to put down more rubber on the track.

The Toyo Proxes R888R reaches optimal operating temperature quickly via its R or racing compound tread. Racing aficionados will appreciate this quality as well as how predictable the handling is, as well as braking, cornering and acceleration.

Safety comes standard with the Toyo Proxes R88R. It has large shoulder blocks for additional lateral grip and a wide centre rib that enhances steering response and stability allowing faster cornering for faster lap times.

The Toyo Proxes R888R is currently the only competition-quality tyre available in the market that can be legally driven on the road to and from the circuit.

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

100 AA A

•  100 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  AA Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Toyo Proxes R 888 R is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
