I drove Sydney to Geelong and returned, the low noise emitted, grip and overall performance of the car with the tyres was great. I could totally feel the difference from the previous (Kumho). The ease of ordering, the fitting process and my overall experience using Tyroola once again great.

Not the greatest in the wet (terrible in mud), but otherwise fine. 1 tire got a punctured in week 2, then another got punctured in week 5. Both were close enough to the side wall that some repairers wouldn't repair them, however, managed to get both repaired, & both are holding fine, so they definitely take repairs well. (I've had puncture repairs on other tires that started leaking within weeks.)

Straight off the bat I've got to say that the Ventus S1 Evolution are an exceptionally good tyre. I never considered buying Hankook tyres simply because I thought they were just an average brand but they have excellent grip wet and dry, they feel terrific and aren't overly noisy. It's also come to my attention that reviewers in some markets don't have access to the same quality tyre by major manufacturers as Westerners do, possibly to make tyres affordable for third world markets, and that reviews with excessive wear conflicts against excellent durability in a single brand and series of tyre reflects this fact. If you live in Europe, North America, Australia etc then take this into consideration, particularly with tyres where reviews possess obvious conflicts.

The factory fitted Pirellis were not a good choice for this car (Hyundai Kona N Premium), suffering excessive shudder and wheel hop. This impacted their overall performance and safety, especially in the wet. The Kumhos fixed all these annoying behaviours at a very reasonable price. They are also quieter and more comfortable to drive on than the original tyres.

Mastercraft Tyres

The Mastercraft brand of tyres, founded in 1909, is a subsidiary of the American giant Cooper Tyre and Rubber Company, which also owns other popular brands such as Roadmaster, and Avon Tyres. They are known for extraordinarily durable yet affordable tyres favoured by the long distance travelling American driving market. Budget-savvy Australians looking for new tyres will surely find a Mastercraft model perfect for them since they make them for passenger cars, light truck, SUV, winter tyres and more. Mastercraft's strength lies in tyres that have a firm grip and consistent traction until it's time time to replace them, which might take a while since these tyres REALLY last a long time. Their tyres use a special tread compound, making it extremely flexible at high temperatures while preventing minor wear and tear. Design details like asymmetrical patterns on rigid treads for dry roads or treads with grooves and edges to combat hydroplaning and handle snow, give you superior handling. Available on Tyroola is the Mastercraft Courser AXT All-Terrain Tyre which delivers a stable and balanced ride due to its 5-rib tread design, wide circumferential grooves and aggressive shoulder design.

I bought these tyres for my Nissan Patrol and am very impressed. They are a very good all round tyre and after 15,000 k's are hardly showing any signs of wear.
