I was worried about spending this much money on a pair of tyres, as you’ll never know what a tyre is like until you yourself try it. All I can say is WOW, has more grip than Nitto NT05 in the dry, which is very good considering the brackets these tyres fill. Wet grip is phenomenal, they’re also dead quiet on the road, they felt firm but composed going over road imperfections (potholes etc.). Best street tyre you can get!

Great tyre in both wet and dry. Grip and steering response both excellent. A touch noisier than the Michelin Pilot Super Sports I had, but these have a higher speed & load rating so understandable. Steering response awesome. For around $800, far cheaper than the Michelins and just as good.

It is good to be back with Pirelli tyres on all corners, although currently with different models on each axle. Over the years, I have found Pirellis suits my style of driving best of all tyre brands I've tried. Can't fault these tyres against their value for money factor. Excellent grip in the dry and wet, very immediate "bitey" response under steering load. Road noise is very low compared to other more expensive semi-slicks I've driven on. Haven't driven far enough to comment on tread wear but so far they look virtually new after one track day and just over 4,000km of commuter use. Fuel consumption just like any other semi-slick is hurt badly, but that's not why I bought the tyres.
If you're a performance enthusiast, try this summer tyre, which gives excellent dry braking and minimal noise levels.

These tyres are an excellent buy if you're not looking to pay a ransom - which is what you're normally in for when needing a matching set for different front-back sizes, and the run-flat requirement (no spare in the car). The tread looks good - right up there with the best. Only done a few hundred kms so far, but these tyres feel good and have low noise considering the thin profile. Will buy again.

Great tyres for the price I picked a set of 4 on special from Tyroola for $636 delivered to Melbourne which is unheard of for a set of 4x 35" mud tyres. These tyres get good reviews on the South African four wheel drive forums so I decided to give ‘em a go. They are a budget tyre but have better traction in the wet than my previous set of Kelly all terrains I had on. Tread depth and sidewall thickness is their weak point but I'm not heading out anywhere remote for daily driving. They are terrific value for money. Just buy ‘em you can go wrong.
