Hankook Optimo K415

Hankook Optimo K415

Hankook Optimo K415 model is a premium summer tyre engineered for small and medium-sized vehicles that guarantee a comfortable ride under any driving condition. Hankook's unique HSG technology has been applied to the K415, resulting in much shorter braking distances and superior handling around corners. It has wide, high-strength steel belts which increase tread strength and offers enhanced direct steering response. These directly result in less tread wear and longer tread life through-out its symmetric design. The K415's shoulder grooves ensure that water drains quickly, thereby reducing the chances of dangerous aquaplaning, especially when cornering. Its shoulder block multi-kerfs additionally provides a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride by lowering noise emissions. Compatible from 14' up to 19' rims, the K415 also has sizes for the UHP category available.

Why This Tyre?

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

400 A A

•  400 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Hankook Optimo K415 is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
