Kinforest Kf 717

The Kinforest Kf 717 is a summer tyre designed for use on CUVs, SUVs, light trucks and 4x4s.It features a solid, continuous centre rib that keeps the tyre in constant contact with the road via its contact patch, improving straight-line stability making the tyre easier to handle even when going faster than average. Small lateral grooves, on the other hand, provide optimal braking performance for a safer drive. The tread design also optimised both lateral and longitudinal grooves to increase the KF717's contact patch, enhancing grip and allowing for maximum driver control. Just like in many other tyres, the KF717 has four main longitudinal grooves that are wide and strategically placed to efficiently remove water from the tyre's surface. A drier tyre is a safer tyre - hydroplaning is prevented, and both wet condition performance and cornering stability improves significantly. To further ensure driver safety, Kinforest's engineers also spent some time on the tyre's shoulder. Cornering at high speeds can be very dangerous and can lead to accidents if your tyres are not up to it. The KF717's shoulder contains extensive sipes which further makes the contact patch larger. This is useful during cornering, adding stability to prevent the car from tipping over.

Why This Tyre?

The Kinforest Kf 717 is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
