The Accelera Alpha is an all-season ultra high performance passenger tyre designed with a sporty look. It is a comfortable tyre that can offer excellent stability and flexibility during high speeds. The Alpha's tyre design includes medium to large tread blocks and 45 degree side or lateral grooves to reduce tyre noise. Straight centre grooves and a straight and dry rib help in quick water evacuation and also avoids hydroplaning.

•  320 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Accelera Alpha is an Directional Tyre

Directional tread patterns are favoured by sports cars and high-performance drivers. They have an arrow or V-shaped tread pattern that channels water, drawing it out from the tread surface to prevent hydroplaning at high speeds.

However, you can only move them from front to back axle (same side), but not left to right, so left is left, and right is right for these tyres.
