Austone Athena SP306 is an all-terrain, summer tyre made for premium SUVs and 4x4s. The Athena SP 306's tread area is larger and this wider footprint gives more driving stability and extends your tread life. The wider footprint increases the surface area exactly right where the tyre and the road come into contact with each other and evens out pressure distribution. The SP 306 is T-rated for performance at speeds of up to 190/km per hour.

Early days but overall I think that they are a good road tyre, and by the look of the tread pattern they will have a reasonable degree of light off road ability such as beach and track. These tyres feel everybit as good as the origional that were fitted to my Mazda BT50, low road noise, haven't driven on wet roads as yet but with a good deep tread pattern they should be ok. Overall very pleased with these tyres.

I was asked to do a review only a few weeks after I got them so I just put a random three stars on tread wear. They are very quiet for Chinese tyres, at least a lot quieter than the ones I had before. The price is very good, I can not find a fault in performance, but I am not a sports driver. I did some heavy brake tests(more to settle in new pads) and they did not lock up once.
