The Austone Athena SP 6 is a passenger tyre providing comfort and control on the road at a low cost. The central rib of the tyre provides high speed stability as well as an increase in steering and grip in both wet and dry conditions. The wider pattern blocks on the shoulder of the tyre improves uniform wear, meaning that the tread pattern will wear more evenly, increasing the life of the tyre. A 5-pitch tread design has been used to reduce the noise on the road, adding to the comfortable drive. Further, four circumferential grooves are used to help drain water from the tread pattern and through the shoulder side sipes, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and increasing performance in wet conditions.
