The Kumho Ecsta KH11 is a passenger Tyres used on sporty sedans and coupes, that offers superior grip in both wet and dry conditions. A special high tech compound of silica and carbon is used on the tread to give high levels of grip to the road. Three wide circumferential grooves are used to channel water, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and providing a smooth ride. A solid center rib is used to give stability at high speeds. The tread pattern design allows for a quiet ride on the road, increasing comfortability when driving. The shoulder side sipes help evacuate water out of the tread, further helping the tyre to avoid hydroplaning. This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.
• A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.
