I was going to purchase some Pirelli tyres but last minute i checked the reviews and the were terrible, so i went on a hunt and somehow stumbled across the PowerTrac tyres, they had good reviews and reasonably priced. I received fantastic install service on the new tyres and a included an $80 wheel alignment ( must have on a new set of tyres), i wrote a google review on the install after the drive home because i was so impressed and then this follow-up review about 3 months later, they are a very decent tyre for a surprisingly low price.

These Tyres shouldn't be recommended for EV cars. It's bad that your website recommends them for EVs. They have significantly reduced the range of my tesla and are failing to hold tyre pressure with the weight of the Tesla.

Quite loud, not very grippy worse in wet, tread wear not available as they’re quite new still, not very good steer responsive, save up and get something worth your while,

These tyres are exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve normally run a semi-slick tyre compound on my car in the past as I do use my car for motorsports purposes as well as daily driving duties. They perform just as well under Motorsport conditions as my semi-slicks did while still holding a much higher level of grip in the wet as well as having a longer lasting tread wear.

These tyres are quiet, awesome in the wet, pretty good in the dry too. Don't know about wear yet as haven't done many km's.

This car gets very little use (summer drive) and is very correct in all circumstances and perfect value for money.

Why This Tyre?

What's the Pros And Cons?

Powertrac Racing Pro UTQG 320 AA A

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

320 AA A

•  320 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  AA Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Powertrac Racing Pro is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
