Experience the Sumaxx All Terrain AT

The Sumaxx All Terrain AT is an affordable all-season tyre designed for SUVs, light trucks and 4x4s. It offers durability and safety whatever the weather. It is made using a special tread compound optimised to enhance its wear resistance qualities so it can take on rocky, sandy, muddy - and more - surfaces. Its aggressive and asymmetric tread pattern is tailored made for off-road conditions yet can also handle on-road driving. The pattern encourages the application of even road pressure on the tyre so that eventual tread wear is even as well. Extra stiff sidewalls further contribute to the tyre's strength, protecting the sides from any cuts, punctures and other damage it can sustain in rougher terrain. Safety is guaranteed by a 3D Groove design with extra biting edges, enabling the tyre to have increased grip and to perform better in the snow. Additional minor grooves also assist in remove mud and other debris between the tread for exceptional all-terrain and all-weather traction.

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

480 A A

•  480 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Sumaxx All Terrain AT is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
