Experience the Westlake SU 318

The Westlake SU 318 is an all-season tyre ideal for light trucks, crossovers and SUVs. It is the perfect tyre for drivers who want superior traction, exceptional handling and of course, quiet comfort. With a tread design rated at M+S, it can perform in various weather conditions including rain and light snow. Four wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning and keep the tyre dry to enhance grip, traction, and handling in wet road conditions. Westlake's advanced technology silica compound - as well as additional sipes on the tread, boost the tyre's handling in light snow too - keeping passengers safe and sound. Other features include a reinforced centre rib that keeps the tyre in continuous contact with the road, helping maximise driver control and tyre stability. A unique staggered tread block design enhances cornering performance as well as improves grip and traction. Finally, its steel bead wire construction helps reduce tyre and road noise for a peaceful and quiet ride

Westlake SU 318 UTQG 500 A A

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

500 A A

•  500 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Westlake SU 318 is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
