The Daewoo Matiz was a compact city car produced by GM Korea in 1998. It eventually became known as the Chevrolet Spark. Currently, on its 3rdgeneration as the Spark, it has always been sold as a five-door hatchback in various engine, drivetrain and transmission combinations. In 2002, General Motors took full control over Daewoo Motors, and the Matiz was sold as the Chevrolet Spark. The Matiz badge was discontinued entirely around 2010.
